 Brian Rogers (Oboe)

Brian and his wife have left Sunderland

to live and work in Swansea.

Sandra Rodriguez (Violin)

Sandra has returned to her native Mexico after spending

some time in Sunderland teaching Spanish.

We wish them well.

Last concert – June 2011

Excellent audience - Over 100 present again.

A questionnaire was distributed, asking for information regarding favourite music, how members of the audience had heard of the concert etc. The replies received have been collated and the information will be used to help future planning.

Patrons and Friends

The committee has discussed the privileges associated with membership as Patron or Friend.

Initially, Patrons will be given two free tickets to each concert, have reserved seats and have their names printed on the programmes.

Orchestra Music Library

All scores owned by the orchestra have now been examined and missing parts obtained. A list of the scores available has been circulated to all members, and is available for viewing in the rehearsal room.

Microsoft

Microsoft has donated a copy of the latest version of ‘Office Professional Plus’ to help with the administration of the orchestra.
